Exigent Technologies was hired by Carlo's Bakery, a renowned business featured on the reality TV show, Cake Boss, to design and install the core network infrastructure at their new 150,000 sq ft warehouse and office facility. The project involved setting up on-prem file servers, network switches with a 10g backbone, a data backup solution, WiFi, and a video surveillance network. Exigent engineers also designed the IT racks and installed the hardware, wire management, and wiring throughout the facility to support 150 connections. The project was successfully completed with the network configured and hardened from the ground up, leading to the company retaining Exigent on a monthly basis for support and management.
Exigent Technologies was contracted by a securities litigation law firm during their establishment in August/September 2020. The firm needed a complete IT infrastructure setup for their offices in New Jersey and New York. Exigent worked tirelessly, purchasing and installing everything from computers to network equipment, and successfully transferred all files from the old firm to the new one. They continued to provide IT management services, recently completing a large project that involved moving the IT rack and rerouting all wiring and cables. An estate planning law firm engaged Exigent Technologies to investigate a case of wire fraud. The project involved researching the suspicious email and determining how the fraudulent email occurred.
