Exagic was hired by Innovativity LLC, an AI-enabled custom software development company for SMEs, to create an e-commerce store. The project was divided into two stages. In the first stage, Exagic developed a WordPress-based store, which involved setting up WordPress with a suitable hosting environment, customizing a WordPress theme in line with the client’s branding, and integrating various features such as product catalog management, user registration, shopping cart, and checkout functionality, among others. The second stage involved the development of a customized e-commerce store. Exagic revisited the client's feedback from the WordPress solution to identify additional needs and finalize the scope for the custom site. The team selected an appropriate technology stack, designed a system architecture for scalability and performance, and created custom designs and prototypes. They developed custom features, implemented integrations with third-party tools, and planned and executed data migration from WordPress to the custom platform. The final product was tested thoroughly for functionality, performance, and security, and then launched. Exagic also provided documentation and training for the client’s team and set up monitoring tools for performance tracking and error handling.
