ETTE

ETTE was enlisted by Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind to establish a DFARS-aligned server environment across its main base and a satellite location. ETTE, a company highly rated for its impeccable service, cost effectiveness, and organizational culture, was chosen after being referred. The project required the collective efforts of two to five ETTE employees and involved a series of deliverables, including Windows Server licensing and Microsoft Office licensing for non-profits.

Given the shifting landscape of cybersecurity and the increase in remote work, ETTE's expertise was put to a rigorous test managing the project. Key tasks involved setting up the Houston Firewall, delivering final documentation to Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind, and adjusting the scope of the security plan and technical implementation to account for remote workers.

Despite the shifting complexities, ETTE's successful execution of the project gave the 125-year-old organization serving people with visual impairment an IT infrastructure it needed.
