ENTech Solutions was hired by SpaBooker to develop a prototype for their business management platform, Booker Software. The goal was to prove the success of a web-based Scheduling, CRM, and POS in an industry dominated by desktop applications. ENTech's team of five, including a project manager, technical lead, and three engineers, was selected based on their experience, project timeline, and cost. The team developed the product specifications, divided large tasks into smaller user stories, designed the user interface, and developed an API for integrating the scheduling system into other systems and websites. They also deployed the infrastructure and designed the release process for the new system. By the end of 2012, the project had proven successful, capturing over 60% market share in the spa industry. As the project became viable, the ENTech team expanded to 21 individuals working on the Booker project.
