Engine Room

Engine Room was engaged by the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics to provide web development support for an educational contest called M3. The challenge required reliable online support to manage multiple sites including a registration site, an interactive site for contestants, a site for judges, and a unified database. Engine Room was tasked with making updates to the existing system and unifying the API database, which included approximately 15 years' worth of data. The partnership, which began in June 2018, resulted in successful updates and a smooth transition despite a change in project managers during the engagement.

In another project, Engine Room partnered with Parkway Corporation, a real estate development, parking operations, and airport services company. The company's web and mobile presence was outdated, making it difficult for customers to engage with two of their three key business units. Engine Room performed a needs analysis and led the platform selection process, eventually choosing Drupal running on Pantheon. The project, which began in Q2 2016, involved user design, functional design, development, testing, and deployment stages. Engine Room continues to provide support for the production, sites, and mobile capabilities as the company continues to make adjustments and tweaks.
