The project involved identifying eight key changes and agreeing on a path forward. Empeek's project manager provided a detailed spreadsheet outlining each task, cost, and estimated hours. The project was completed according to the agreed plan and 2% under cost.
In another project, Empeek was engaged by a healthcare company to create a custom IoT-based healthcare software from scratch. The owner and COO of the company reported that Empeek conducted several Zoom meetings to understand their requirements and how they wanted the product functionality to work. Empeek also designed every user-facing element of the product, and the company is still working with Empeek on maintenance and small updates. Additionally, Empeek created a mobile app for the product, which is currently in the final stages of deployment.
A Boston-based healthcare technology company also enlisted Empeek's services for the design of their flagship product's architecture and the development and testing of the software. The CEO reported that Empeek designed and developed the software from scratch using Figma and React for mobile design and .NET for their tech stack. The application is compatible with iOS and Android, and Empeek is hosting and maintaining the site on AWS. The team from Empeek consisted of around six people, including a software designer, a mobile iOS developer, a backend developer, a tester, and a business analyst. The partnership began in June 2021 and is ongoing.
