Ellowww was hired by an online food company to reprogram their application, implement new features, and improve the code. They were also tasked with maintaining the servers and providing UX & UI services for the company's website and customer-facing application. Initially, the vendor was chosen for a UX project through Upwork, and after successful completion of small projects, they were contracted for full time work. The project involved building an application for the meal plan company's administrative team and customers using technologies such as React JS, Yii2 Framework, MariaDB, Socket IO, and AWS EC2 & 3.
The contract with Ellowww was a comprehensive IT solution package, and 1 to 2 full-time developers were dedicated to the project. However, the server team, UX & UI team, and senior project managers were also involved, albeit not full time. Ellowww was tasked with ensuring no server downtime, even during peak periods when a large number of customers logged into the application. The vendor's team demonstrated excellent standards and executed their tasks well, which resulted in a positive experience for the client company.
