The scope of Edstem's involvement varied across projects, including providing JavaScript expertise for backend development, migrating a legacy workflow management system to an open-source platform, and supporting frontend work with React developers. The team also assisted with DevOps work on AWS. The collaboration, which began in May 2019, involved the Edstem CTO, a tech lead, and several senior and junior developers. In total, Xpergia invested approximately £450,000 ($541,000 USD) in the ongoing partnership with Edstem Technologies.
Edstem Technologies provided end-to-end bespoke custom software development services for AyataCommerce, an e-commerce systems integrator firm. The project involved UX design, platform design, requirements gathering, testing, and data migration. The goal was to merge four existing systems into one, which required significant data migration. Edstem also assisted with frontend development, AWS cloud hosting, backend service writing, and data migration onto NoSQL. The team, composed of around 15 members including a project manager, backend developers, frontend developers, a business analyst, and testers, began the engagement in November 2021. To date, AyataCommerce has invested approximately $50,000 in the ongoing project.
Edstem Technologies collaborated with a custom software company to provide staff augmentation services for various development projects. The scope of their involvement ranged from requirements gathering and development to execution and completion. Each project was custom-built from scratch and utilized technologies such as HTML, CSS, Angular, JavaScript, and Ionic. Additional services included DevOps and code repository management. The team, which included the founder of Edstem, a project manager, and about 10 developers, began working together in June 2017. The ongoing engagement has so far cost the custom software company around $250,000.
