Highlights from Recent Projects
Edison Tech Solutions was hired by Skillset, a moving and delivery service company, to design and develop mobile applications for iOS and Android. The goal was to create an app similar to TaskRabbit/Thumbtack for CIS countries, where users could find and hire professionals in different industries. After a detailed discussion of the goals, Edison Tech drafted a roadmap and started working on the UX/UI design, followed by the development process which took around 5-6 months. The app, written in React-Native, integrated different payment services and analytics tools. The app was launched and tested successfully, and is now available for download in Georgia.
Edison Tech Solutions was contracted by a speakeasy cocktail bar owner to develop a smart door keypad that could set and open the door with a passcode. The vendor was recommended by a friend who had previously worked with them. Edison Tech customized the keypad using 3D printing techniques, programmed and built the system to set the passcode for the lock. The project was mainly handled by the product manager, PCB Designer, 3D Modeler, and a software engineer.
Tene, a USB cable manufacturing company based in Tbilisi, Georgia, hired Edison Tech Solutions to create a special device to test the quality of their USB cables. The CEO, PM, and Senior Hardware Engineer from Edison Tech were involved in the project. They first helped design the idea of a Universal USB Cable tester, then designed the product, PCB boards and programmed the device. The device was tested and launched successfully in Tene's shops.
