Edge One Solutions

Edge One Solutions was engaged by a development company that creates software for travel agents in order to provide remote development staff augmentation. They initially hired 20 engineers from Edge One Solutions and later scaled up to 30 when they secured additional funding. The team, which was split between Poland and Dallas, worked remotely with the company's developers and two project managers from Edge One Solutions were assigned to oversee the project. The company was particularly impressed with the coding skills of Edge One Solutions' team, though they had to guide them in the specifics of the airline sector. The project began three years ago and is still ongoing, with the size of the remote team being gradually decreased as the volume of work decreased.

Edge One Solutions was also hired by a Polish retail company to develop an application for one of their brands, which allows users to upload pictures and order customized items. They also developed the backend platform used by the company's call center, headquarters, and production staff. The backend is entirely Java-based, using the Spring Framework which includes Spring MVC and Spring Boot. The frontend was developed in-house using a mix of HTML and CSS scripts that are Angular.js 1.6 and React. Edge One Solutions is still providing services for the platform, which is functional but not yet finished due to internal issues at the company.
