Highlights from Recent Projects
Echo&Co partnered with a nonprofit housing organization to streamline their digital assets after a company merger. The organization had six websites and numerous web resources that were not being updated regularly. Echo&Co helped them strategize their company identity and audience personas, and build a single website that encapsulates their purpose and identity. The website was built on Drupal, moving away from the previous WordPress sites which had become problematic due to the use of numerous plugins. Echo&Co also helped the organization prioritize features based on their budget. The project, which began in January 2017, is ongoing and has so far cost the organization about $200,000.
In another project, Echo&Co worked with JCHE, an organization that provides affordable housing to low-income seniors, on a rebranding initiative. The project involved a discovery process, stakeholder interviews, audience analysis, and market research. Echo&Co developed a new name and logo for the organization, incorporating feedback from JCHE throughout the process. The project, which began in June 2017, is ongoing and has cost JCHE around $70,000.
Echo&Co also worked with the Museum of Fine Arts Boston to improve the user experience for membership, ticketing, and online giving. The project involved auditing the user journey, flow mapping, internal product working sessions, and a technical evaluation of the museum's e-commerce system. Echo&Co developed a prototype based on feedback from these sessions and tested it with members of the museum. The final deliverable was a detailed implementation roadmap and a project scope for an RFP to find a vendor for web development. The project, which took place from March to November 2018, cost the museum between $100,000 and $150,000.
