Highlights from Recent Projects
eBase U.S. was hired by a professor from the Tohoku Medical and Pharmaceutical University to develop a custom software for his basic medical research. The software was designed to evaluate image processing of hundreds of thousands of cells from several hundreds of microscopy time-lapse imaging. The software allowed for segmentation of cells, tracking of moving cells, and evaluation of surface characterization of individual cells. This greatly aided the professor's analysis of cancer cell division and DNA repair mechanisms in damaged radiated and drug treated cells. The professor selected eBase U.S. based on their high-quality software development techniques, particularly in processing digital imaging data. The project was handled by two or three well-skilled system engineers from eBase U.S.
Prior to this, the professor had engaged eBase U.S. to design the University's home pages using a special homepage builder developed by eBase. The company also created several customer service software for the University Hospital, including an outpatient waiting list and waiting time inform system via mobile phone, and an automated medical data transfer system. These projects showcased eBase U.S.'s expertise in various programming languages and their ability to design and create web applications and apps for Android, iOS, and Windows. Despite their small engineering team, eBase U.S. was able to handle these projects efficiently and cost-effectively, further solidifying their reputation as a reliable partner.
