E-cens was hired by APMEX, one of the largest online retailers for precious metals, to facilitate a GA4 Migration. The project was initiated due to a referral and the selection of E-cens was influenced by their cultural fit, value for cost, and alignment with APMEX's company values. A team of 2-5 employees from E-cens was assigned to the project. They conducted a comprehensive audit of APMEX's legacy Google Analytics data layer and implementation, and subsequently mapped out a new installation of GA4 across both app and web platforms. This new installation preserved essential functionality while also expanding data capture. Upon approval of the plan, E-cens implemented new tags to support the migration. The project was successful and met the objectives set by APMEX.
