DVELP worked with Tribe, an online subscription and e-commerce platform for natural sports nutrition products, to develop their website. The project involved building the site from scratch, adding extra features, and making changes to the site as needed. DVELP used Ruby on Rails, AJAX, and JavaScript for the development, and took the site from a subscription platform to a subscription and e-commerce site. They added a shopping cart and separate account functionalities, built the subscription engine and product selection algorithm, and migrated payment dividers from Braintree to Stripe. The project began in September 2015 and is still ongoing.

In another project, DVELP was hired by a sports retail store to build a sophisticated website that matched their brand and could cope with an active e-commerce business. They built the initial site and were hired for the second version. The site uses Shopify, and DVELP is responsible for building a new site designed by the in-house team. They are implementing a ticketing system to streamline customer service questions through a service bot that automates responses depending on information in the query. The project started in August 2015 and is still ongoing.

DVELP also worked with Inporium, a start-up developing a customer loyalty app for restaurants. The app works like an airline rewards program, allowing participating restaurants to provide exclusive rewards to loyal patrons. DVELP helped define the app’s functionalities and target audience, developed an MVP to test with local customers, and used the feedback to begin a 12-week build. They developed both the frontend and backend, and used a conversion system to make the app available for Android and iOS. The project started in October 2016 and is still ongoing.
