Duelle

Duelle was hired by Constructive Space, a commercial office fit-out company, to design a new boardroom. The main requirement was that the boardroom needed to have good acoustic performance for video conferencing and had to align with the existing office brand. The sole resource from Duelle who worked on this project was Melanie, the interior designer. The project was successful, with the client appreciating the variety of design options and the exceptional detail provided by Duelle.

COAT Paints, an online company for sustainable paint, engaged Duelle to design and deliver the interior for their new headquarters. The old printing press in Clerkenwell was transformed into a beautiful work environment for 20 people. Duelle was chosen for their commitment to sustainability, sourcing only vintage or up-cycled pieces wherever possible. The project was handled by Melanie and Micaela, the studio founders, who maintained direct contact with the client throughout the engagement. The client was pleased with Duelle's dedication to the project's sustainability goals and their ability to create a beautiful workspace that reflected the industrial character of the building.

Beyond Words Studio, a design studio specializing in data visualization, information design, and storytelling, hired Duelle to create a contemporary meeting room that would complement the surrounding 18th-century building. Duelle was also tasked with providing advice on contemporary interior design touches for the rest of the studio space. The team from Duelle, consisting of 2-5 employees, was responsible for sourcing and installing a new meeting room with a timber and glass partition, providing consultancy on paint and fabric selection, and managing the meeting room installation and build. The client chose Duelle due to their geographical proximity, great cultural fit, and a referral. The client was satisfied with the deliverables, particularly appreciating the consultancy on select vintage furniture for the open studio space.
