Duelle

Duelle was hired by Constructive Space, a commercial office fit-out company, to design a new boardroom. The project was managed solely by Melanie, an interior designer from Duelle. The new boardroom needed to have a good acoustic performance for video conferencing and had to align with the existing office design. Duelle provided a range of design options with exceptional detail, which was a key factor in their selection for the project. The feedback from Constructive Space was positive, with the company appreciating the detailed design options provided by Duelle.

Beyond Words Studio, a design studio specializing in data visualization, information design and storytelling, hired Duelle for interior design services. The objective was to create a contemporary meeting room that complements the 18th-century building it is situated in and to provide advice on other contemporary interior design touches for the rest of the studio space. Duelle's team, consisting of 2-5 employees, was responsible for sourcing and installing a new meeting room with timber and glass partition, consulting on paint and fabric selection, soft furnishings and lighting choices, sourcing suppliers for the build and managing the installation. The feedback from Beyond Words Studio was positive, citing Duelle's geographical proximity, culture fit and referral as key factors in their selection.

COAT Paints, an online company for sustainable paint, hired Duelle to design and deliver their new headquarters. The project involved transforming an old printing press in Clerkenwell into a workspace for 20 people. The design needed to reflect the industrial character of the space while creating a beautiful work environment. Sustainability was a key requirement, with Duelle asked to source only vintage or up-cycled pieces to reflect COAT's "zero waste, re-use and recycle" ethos. The project was managed by Melanie and Micaela, the studio founders of Duelle. The company selected Duelle for their willingness to source sustainably. The feedback from COAT Paints was positive, with the company appreciating Duelle's commitment to sustainability and the straightforwardness of the project engagement.
