DockYard was hired by an automotive marketing website for a tech transformation project that involved rewriting the company's platforms from scratch using Elixir. DockYard's team, consisting of four engineers and software architects, worked remotely and assisted in designing the database, implementing the Elixir architecture, and creating reusable code. They also supported the implementation of an event reporting engine and various AWS tools. The project, which cost around $1.5 million, began in February 2019 and was completed in April 2020.

A health and wellness company hired DockYard to augment their software engineering team for a legacy software rewrite project using Elixir. The goal was to provide a more seamless user experience and clean up the backend data model and customer-facing reports. DockYard provided an Elixir programmer to join the small team, chosen for their location in the United States and their expertise with the Phoenix Framework, which was written by one of their team members.

DockYard was engaged by POA Network, a public blockchain network, to develop elements of a new project called BlockScout. The project was a collaboration with two other Elixir development shops. DockYard was tasked with building the architecture and designing the database for BlockScout using the Phoenix framework. They also created an indexer that collects all the metadata on the blockchain and stores it in the Postgres database. The project, which cost between $400,000–$500,000, began in April 2018 and remains ongoing. The POA Network team expressed their satisfaction with DockYard's work and plans to keep them on board for the long term.
