Distance Coding

Distance Coding was contracted by Promotion Pundits, a digital marketing company, to develop a comprehensive eCommerce website. The project was discovered through an online search and chosen for its competitive pricing and good value. A team of 2-5 employees from Distance Coding was assigned to the project. They initiated the project by gathering detailed requirements, identifying key features and functionalities, and outlining design preferences. The team then developed wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs, ensuring a responsive and user-friendly interface. Front-end and back-end development was carried out using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a suitable programming language. The team also implemented a secure server environment, a database system, and enabled user authentication and secure payment processing. A user-friendly interface was created for managing products and categories, along with features for product search, filtering, sorting, and pagination. The team developed a seamless shopping cart functionality and a secure checkout process. They also enabled user registration, login, password recovery, and created personalized user accounts. An order management system was developed for tracking and processing orders, and customer reviews and ratings were enabled. The team also optimized the website for better search engine visibility, improved website speed and performance, implemented security measures, conducted comprehensive testing, and prepared the website for deployment. Post-launch support and maintenance options were also offered. The client was satisfied with the outcome, appreciating the team's regular communication and adherence to the project timeline.
