Directpl was hired by a consumer goods company to develop an app that interfaced with their SAP business intelligence tools and worked through an iPad. The app, created using Apex classes and custom objects, allowed users to view customer data synced with Salesforce, which in turn synced with SAP. The aim was to enable salespeople to see what products consumers were purchasing. The project, which lasted from July 2012 to June 2018, cost approximately $3.5 million. The client was satisfied with Directpl's project management and QA of the Salesforce component to the app.
