The project involved the development and innovation of a dedicated software to support route management and optimization of drivers' work in the Rail sector. The team at Digital Templars created a system that enabled the creation and management of a database of points, point types, lines, and connections. They also implemented an algorithm for automatic determination of travel routes, taking into account optimal driver selection. The system allows for importing of drivers' routes from XLSX files and generates detailed reports. The project was completed using modern solutions like .NET Core on the backend and JQuery on the frontend, ensuring the application's stability and responsiveness. The data is stored in a SQL Server database, allowing quick access to information and real-time report generation. The system was designed for easy expansion, catering to future integrations and functionality development. The client chose Digital Templars due to their high ratings, great culture fit, and good value for cost. The project was successfully completed by a team of 2-5 employees from Digital Templars.
