The Digital Gene

The Digital Gene was hired by Breakout Media, a digital marketing agency, for website development and branding services. The primary goal was to update their outdated website to better reflect their company's identity. The Digital Gene was selected due to their existing relationship and understanding of Breakout Media's goals. The project involved several stages including logo redesign, creation of brand guidelines, and website building. Breakout Media worked directly with Sharon from The Digital Gene and liaised with developer Gary for technical matters.

The Digital Gene was contracted by Dnest Ltd, an accommodation marketplace and information hub for new arrivals in the UK, to build and host a website. The Digital Gene was chosen due to their proximity, pricing, and referral. The team size was between 2-5 employees. The scope of work included the creation of a web app that allows users to post or view ads, complete various searches using an API of a third-party website, and manage the web app content.

Zookabu, an online group buying marketplace, hired The Digital Gene to build a bespoke custom CMS e-commerce platform. The vendor was selected based on the previous successful collaboration with the technical director of The Digital Gene. The project involved building a fully bespoke custom CMS platform with Stripe payment integration, bespoke delay payment authorisation for the unique group buying cycles, and designing various email templates. The technical director was the sole person from the vendor's team working on this project.
