Diaspark

Diaspark was contracted by an IT services firm based in Colorado to ease the burden on their development team. The company outsourced module development for iOS and Android to Diaspark, who utilized a framework called Titanium from Appcelerator. The modules were written in C# for iOS and Java for Android. The CEO of the firm was impressed with the initial work and contracted Diaspark for several more projects, all valued around $20,000 each.

Diaspark worked with Darron Networking, a network hardware and software provider, on a mobile application for a web-based nutrition website. The app, designed for iOS, allowed users to scan food barcodes in stores and cross-reference the information with an online database of recipes and ingredient information. Although Diaspark did not work with the pre-existing website or database, they fully designed and developed the mobile app. The project was estimated to be in the $20,000 range.

A mobile platform provider enlisted the help of Diaspark to improve their Android development and engineering process. The company initially did all their primary development and testing in iOS but found it difficult to support Android. Diaspark, a top-rated partner of Appcelerator, was chosen to provide deeper expertise in developing Android using the Appcelerator framework. The work was specific to two clients but was designed to be leveraged for all clients. The ongoing project costs around $5,000 per month.
