DevStack

DevStack was awarded a contract to develop a new website for Virtual College, an enterprise specializing in online training solutions. The old website was outdated and struggled with content management, necessitating an upgrade. The new site aimed to reflect the evolving brand identity of Virtual College, improve user interface and content, and integrate the company's new learning management system. DevStack was selected for the project due to their proven track record with Virtual College, their readiness to provide a personalized service, and their commitment to quality, budget, and timelines.

The project was carried out on the Sitecore and uCommerce platforms, with DevStack integrating external applications such as the Braintree payment platform and the Enable learning management system. The development process involved an initial discovery phase followed by design, development, and testing phases. DevStack worked in sprints, allowing the Virtual College team to track progress and ensure quality standards were met. Additionally, DevStack also supported the IT department of Virtual College in setting up new infrastructure and provided assistance during the site launch.

The collaborative team for this project consisted of UX designers, back-end developers, testers, and digital marketers from both DevStack and Virtual College. Numerous stakeholders across the Virtual College organization, ranging from senior management to sales, marketing, and customer support, were also engaged in the project. The newly developed website successfully met the set project goals, offering an enhanced user experience and better integration with the company's learning management system. Feedback highlighted DevStack's approachability, tailored service, and commitment to meeting specification and quality criteria.
