Highlights from Recent Projects
DevOpsi was hired by an IT consulting company to provide DevOps services due to capacity constraints. The project involved migrating legacy applications of a biotechnology company to modern deployment and hosting methods. DevOpsi used the Pulumi framework, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, GitHub for version control and GitHub Actions for pipelines. The project ran from February to May 2022, with a total investment between $25,000 and $30,000. The consulting company was satisfied with DevOpsi's work and appreciated their efficient implementation of the solutions.
In another project, DevOpsi partnered with IT outsourcing company Novaris to build a custom application for one of their clients. The project began with documentation and conceptualization phases, leading to the creation of an architectural draft. After client approval, DevOpsi built the web and mobile-friendly app using T-Clock, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes clusters. The project started in May 2021 and DevOpsi continues to provide ongoing maintenance services. Novaris was pleased with the app and DevOpsi's efficient execution of database authentication solutions.
DevOpsi also collaborated with Restect Energy, an alternative energy trading startup, to develop a trading platform. The project was divided into two phases: planning and requirements analysis, and development. The platform, developed in Java Spring Boot and AngularJS, was designed to be low-latency, reliable, and user-friendly with a strong focus on security. The project began in September 2020 and was paused after six months due to a business decision. Despite the pause, Restect Energy was happy with the work done by DevOpsi, particularly their proposal to use Keycloak for security and identity management.
