Devopsbay

Devopsbay was hired by HiPets, a pet care app, to refactor their existing codebase to work with containers and design a cloud infrastructure that can handle increased traffic and user base. The project involved migrating their system from OVH to AWS. Devopsbay began by providing several solutions to the issues with system stability and traffic handling. The next steps involved refactoring the existing applications to work with docker containers and support the new AWS infrastructure. The primary objective was to move the production database to RDS and support S3 files. The project was successfully completed by a small team of 2-3 engineers, and later on, a dedicated engineer was recommended for his excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Sunmetric, a company providing tools for quick verification of land and roofs for photovoltaic installations, hired Devopsbay to develop artificial intelligence algorithms for satellite image analysis and build a browser-based application. The scope of work included research and development works on creating AI models recognizing the objects in satellite photos and geological maps, writing an application for downloading data from public services, and connecting them with data obtained through the neural network. Devopsbay successfully completed the project with a team of 7 people, including two backend developers with Python, 2 frontend developers, one QA, one DevOps, and a Project Manager.

Genesis Global Ltd, one of Europe's leading online gaming operators, engaged Devopsbay to perform integrations with third-party providers to make their games available at Genesis Casinos. Devopsbay was responsible for the games integration part, working closely with the Genesis Bluebird teams in building and maintaining platform connections and integrations to various casino providers. The technology stack used included Java and ELK. The project was successfully executed with a team of five software developers from Devopsbay, including one project lead, two senior Java developers, and two mid-level Java developers.
