Devincs was engaged by a medical device company to develop a Bluetooth dongle for a wearable sensor system. The primary challenge was to overcome PC latency issues caused by the Windows Bluetooth stack. Devincs successfully developed the dongle using the Nordic nRF52840, which was designed to support connections with at least 10 devices, scalable to 20. The team implemented GATT communication and defined a serial command interface for scan control, device connection management, and GATT characteristic operations. They delivered the source code for the Bluetooth dongle firmware, a list of libraries and SDKs used in the implementation, and a compilation of error codes. The project was completed in August 2025 with two team members from Devincs working on it. The client found Devincs on Upwork and chose them for their fast responses and informed technical questions.
