Despark

The company Despark was contracted to assist with the development and design of an app for a social media network aimed at introverts. The client had previously worked with two other companies without success, but Despark was able to successfully build and launch the MVP using React Native, making it available for iOS and Android. They also provided illustration work for the app and created a website for continuity. The project, which started in February 2019, was handled by a project manager, an illustrator, and a frontend developer. The client was highly satisfied with Despark's performance, particularly their ability to adapt to an initially vague brief and deliver exactly what was wanted.

Despark was also hired by a training & coaching consultancy, CURV, to develop an app from scratch. The company had a concept, but no more. Despark worked with CURV to build wireframes, design the app, brainstorm features and UX, and develop the app with a CMS. This resulted in an adaptable, user-friendly app that was successfully released onto the App Store. The client praised Despark for their personnel, experience, and preparation, and for the way they managed the project, which was led by a product manager and a team of designers and developers.

Healthyco, a health company, hired Despark to develop their mobile app for iOS and Android using React Native. The wireframes and design for the app were provided by Healthyco’s product team. Despark was tasked with keeping the delivery within the agreed budget and without any major changes to the outlined scope. They successfully met these requirements using a Scrum-based approach, with daily stand-ups and productive sprint prioritisation and review meetings. The project involved a senior Frontend React Native developer, a Full Stack Developer and a Project manager/Scrum master. Despark was praised for its ability to adjust the product scope dynamically to maintain the planned budget and timeline.
