Highlights from Recent Projects
Design & Practice worked on a project for Atelier Elliott, an interdisciplinary creative consultancy. The firm needed guidance on its visual identity and a web presence, having previously relied on word-of-mouth referrals. Design & Practice developed an overall visual strategy, incorporating movement to facilitate content understanding. They also designed a website to serve as an online portfolio and created business cards, letterheads, presentation templates, and portfolios to provide a cohesive identity. They recommended using a customized font as the logo, which was developed in collaboration with a type foundry. The project, which began in July 2018, received positive feedback, with the client praising Design & Practice's understanding of different project needs and their ability to produce meaningful work.
In another project, Design & Practice collaborated with Rebel and Bird, a leading digital agency based in Stockholm, Sweden. The agency aimed to define a new visual brand and design a website that would reflect its business growth. Design & Practice visited the Rebel and Bird office, presented different design ideas for the brand, and incorporated feedback into the final design. They also worked on the website after the brand design was completed. The project, which ran from November 2018 to May 2019, cost €22760. The client appreciated Design & Practice's enthusiasm for the company's story and their inclusion of it in the design.
Design & Practice also developed a new brand identity for an interior design studio. Initially hired to create business cards, they expanded their scope to include portfolio and website design. They also did some freestyle rebranding work for the client's customer, creating spatial graphical applications and a new logo. The project, which began in September 2016, cost between $10,000 and $50,000. The client had previously worked with Design & Practice on several projects at another company and continued to maintain a positive working relationship with them.
