Design Monks

Design Monks worked with WellDev, a Switzerland-based software company, to provide UI/UX design services for various software projects. The designs were then converted into code by the WellDev team. The partnership, which began in June 2018, has been ongoing and has seen an investment of less than $10,000.

In a project with a food review website, Design Monks was hired to create a user-friendly platform for food lovers. The team from Atiq's Pixels, as referred by a friend, impressed the client with their portfolio. The project included features such as user reviews on foods and restaurants, ratings, viewing menu lists, trending dishes, and suggestions based on weather. The team, consisting of 2 backend developers, 1 frontend developer, and 2 UI/UX designers from Atiq's Pixels, worked together to bring this project to fruition.

Onethread, a project management software startup, hired Design Monks to redesign 70% of their user journey and develop the UX & UI for a multitude of features. Found online, Design Monks was chosen for their high ratings, proximity, budget-friendly pricing, culture fit, and value for cost. The team of 2-5 employees from Design Monks conducted extensive research on competitors and a thorough analysis of Onethread. They developed basic wireframes for each feature, received feedback, and finalized the designs. The process was iterative and cooperative, resulting in a comprehensive design.
