Design Make Connect was hired by Defender Safety, a PPE equipment manufacturer, to design a Type 2 Safety Helmet. The project involved developing a helmet that exceeded ANSI and EN regulatory standards and was user-friendly, with easy accessory swapping. The helmet also needed to provide maximum ventilation to prevent user heat stroke and include an electric barrier unaffected by wear and tear. Defender Safety found Design Make Connect through an online search, choosing them for their high ratings, culture fit, good value for cost, and aligned company values. The project was successfully completed by a team of 2-5 employees from Design Make Connect.

Luma West, a company specializing in the design and development of next-gen portable medical devices, hired Design Make Connect to create a concept design for a portable cardiac arrest diagnosis device. The project involved translating the concept into a robust real-world product and designing for manufacturing and assembly. Luma West found Design Make Connect through an online search and selected them based on the team's knowledge and the rapport built during the selection process. The project was successfully completed by a team of 2-5 employees, who created multiple concepts based on the design brief, built on the selected concept for manufacturability and assembly, and provided photo-realistic 3D renders for marketing material and all necessary CAD files for third-party manufacture at volume.
