Highlights from Recent Projects
Design Coalescence was hired by Saint Joseph's Hill of Hope, a nonprofit organization, to develop a desktop and mobile-friendly website. The primary goal was to create an engaging platform that would allow users to chart their own spiritual journey. The website was required to have an easy search of 8,000 Revelations, curated topics, a daily-changing landing page, and a feed of messaging to social media platforms. The team of 15 at Design Coalescence was selected due to their high ratings, geographical proximity, cultural fit, cost-effectiveness, and aligned company values.
The scope of work for Design Coalescence included the redesign of a single Revelation page template that was implemented for 8,000 pages, along with 50 custom pages. They also developed customized search filters and color palettes for nine Path to Heaven sections. Other tasks included creating publications in a collaborative virtual library, designing a striking homepage with five sections from database-generated visuals, and setting up auto deploy via MailChimp. Before the final launch, a complete Vulnerability Scan & Code Review was conducted.
The results were impressive. The team delivered an optimized search page with multiple custom filters, a unified custom admin dashboard, and curated visuals. They also successfully transitioned 8,000 Revelations naming nomenclature and redirected all old URLs. The designs were presented before a committee and live audience for approval. The project was a success, and the client was pleased with the outcome.
