Define Solutions

Define Solutions was hired by a Canadian marine navigation platform to overhaul their iOS code base, which was written in Objective C and becoming unsustainable to manage. The project involved understanding the base functions of the current application, refactoring each screen/controller from Objective C to Swift, testing for backwards compatibility, and bringing the refactors builds to TestFlight for further testing. Two individuals from Define Solutions, Roman, the CTO, and Nazir, a senior iOS developer, were dedicated to this project. The client appreciated the team's pragmatic approach and confidence in tackling this challenging task.

For pikkle, inc, an anonymous polls platform, Define Solutions was tasked with building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The team worked closely with the client to walk through designs and handle necessary edits, before embarking on multiple sprints to get a functioning MVP for beta testing. The client selected Define Solutions for their high ratings and budget-friendly pricing, with two to five employees assigned to the project.
