Default was hired by GateChamps, a modern security assistance organization, to clone an Android application onto iOS. The goal was to create a seamless app where users could easily navigate through its utility-driven features. The project was initiated with a discussion on what the company wanted to achieve, after which the scope of the project was decided. Default improved the company's API to enhance its cross-platform security and after sharing demos, the scope was extended. The project was directed by one of the co-founders of Default.
Default was contracted by Swiggy, one of India's leading delivery platforms, to design a desktop plugin. The goal of the project was to increase downloads of the plugin and foster word-of-mouth for the overall campaign. The plugin was designed to detect profanity and replace it with another word. The project was executed by a team of three people from Default.
Yup Card, a startup loyalty program for college students, hired Default to develop an app for their loyalty card. The company had a website with an online registration process, but the UX/UI wasn’t ideal. Default developed an app for iOS and Android, replicating the site’s UX. Within the app, users could interact with each other, browse offers, and mark favorite places, among other features. The project was completed between May and July 2016, with a total investment of between $5,000–$10,000.
