Deckweiss

Deckweiss was hired by Knorr-Bremse GmbH Div. IFE, a company that provides entrance systems for the railway industry, to create a responsive and intuitive web-based user interface for their next-generation service software. The project aimed to enable train engineers to perform in-depth maintenance work on the IFE train door system from portable devices. Deckweiss was chosen due to their close geographic location, good value for cost, and company values. The deliverables included a design that was both appealing and simple, high compatibility across multiple browsers and devices, a smooth user experience, and future-proof maintainability.

Holzquelle GmbH, an online marketplace for wood, hired Deckweiss to set up their infrastructure and build both the backend and frontend of their website. The company selected Deckweiss for their good value for cost, alignment with company values, and use of new technology. The scope of work involved setting up the backend on a Hetzner server, programming for a marketplace, user management, permissions, and logic for creating items. The frontend setup included a search function for items and the ability to contact members.

Deckweiss collaborated with bimeto, an AI-based modelling company for buildings, to define a strategy for software that automates point cloud analysis, classification, and 3D model generation. The project focused on replacing time-intensive manual workflows, ensuring seamless CAD integration, and laying a scalable foundation for future growth. Deckweiss was chosen for their budget-friendly pricing, great culture fit, and company values. The deliverables included the development of an easy-to-use workflow for the software and the implementation of a fast and efficient SAAS solution.
