Datorium was hired by Spire Digital to develop an AI solution, specifically focusing on speech to text for the legal sector. The project, which was highly confidential, involved testing numerous speech engines and designing a solution around them. The solution was fundamental to Spire Digital's client and required a significant investment of approximately $400,000. The project began in March 2018 and was led by Datorium's founder, Cameron, along with a team of developers.

In another project, Datorium worked with an academic institution to understand a set of data from a 911 system in India. The data quality varied greatly, posing a challenge for the team. Datorium used a variety of modeling techniques, including random forest, and created a demo in Octain, an Ensemble platform. The partnership began in 2015 and although it's not ongoing in any formal capacity, Datorium continues to provide support and assistance when needed. The initial project cost was less than $5,000.

Datorium was also contracted by VMware, a leader in infrastructure software, to predict the sentiment or happiness of customers who did not participate in their surveys. Using their proprietary modeling tools and advanced/predictive analytics, Datorium was able to predict the "happiness level" of each customer using only operational metrics. The model also recommended an approach for continuous, online learning to maintain accuracy as training data changes over time. The project was led by Cameron, along with two other team members from Datorium.
