Datelia was employed by CEDSA, a private educational institution in Argentina, to automate and standardize their payment reporting procedure. Reducing manual controls while mitigating risks of errors in the reconciliation process by the Treasury team was one of the primary goals. In response, Datelia developed a secure web form for regional representatives to submit payment reports. They centralized historic payment information and made it more manageable by introducing business rules and alert-triggering irregularity detectors.

Datelia was chosen for this project due to their competitive pricing, cultural fit, and value for cost. They designed and implemented a cost-effective solution that truly resonated with CEDSA's core values. A team of 2 to 5 Datelia employees rolled out a streamlined payment reporting and control process, meeting CEDSA's key objective of operational efficiency.

The project resulted in the successful deployment of a digitized and automated control process. This included a Looker Studio dashboard for better visibility into the information and a rules engine with automated alerts to identify inconsistencies. Not just development and design, the engagement also carried requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and user training, thus leaving CEDSA highly satisfied with Datelia's comprehensive solution.
