Datatek doo Beograd was hired by a public utility company for their expertise in data storage solutions. The project consisted of a hyper-converged storage solution using DataCore VSAN on 2 Fujitsu server nodes with Microsoft Hyper-V Failover Cluster. The networking and security were handled using Fortinet and Allied Telesis solutions. The implementation was a combination of onsite installation and remote configuration, with an emphasis on knowledge transfer. A team of four from Datatek, including the lead system engineer and three system and network specialists, worked on the project.

Upon completion of the project, the utility company experienced a significant improvement in data security and system availability. The downtime was minimized and planned after working hours to avoid any disruption in operations.
