Datasec

Datasec was engaged by an IT services company to provide development and design expertise. The team at Datasec implemented a hybrid system using React Native on the frontend and Node.js on the backend. This system allowed for changes in the look and feel of the app, as well as alterations in the way the product is used. The project, which began in May 2010 and is ongoing, is managed by two developers and a project manager, with additional input from a designer and a copywriter. Datasec was hired by Abitab, a Uruguayan financial services company, to renew their ISO 27,001:2022 Information Security Management System certification. The project involved an internal audit of the information security management system based on ISO 27001 and new controls ISO 27001:2022. Datasec also provided consulting to support compliance with all points of the new security benchmark and recorded and corrected the findings of the internal audit. The project was managed by 2-5 Datasec employees and was chosen due to Datasec's good value for cost and positive previous experience.

The scope of the project included the implementation of a risk management tool and the generation of reports.
