Datahub Analytics was contracted by an International Airport Group to design and implement a Business Intelligence (BI) analytics Data Warehouse (DWH) infrastructure. The objective was to build an analytical model to measure the airport's operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance, which included aspects such as passenger traffic, facility management, and building management. The goal was to reduce the time needed to report airport operational KPIs, ensure data collection from more than 12 systems, and provide near real-time operational KPI measurement and visualization.
Datahub Analytics was chosen for this project due to their hands-on experience in implementing data warehouse technologies, extensive BI consulting experience, and their ability to understand industry-specific markets and customers. They also had a track record of designing and implementing tailored solutions using advanced tools and technologies, coupled with fast and reliable support.
The project involved building a Microsoft SQL DWH, creating more than 20 ETL jobs, and developing over 30 Power BI dashboards that covered more than 200 KPIs. The team from Datahub Analytics that worked on this project included a project manager, two data architects, a business analyst, and two data visualization experts.
