DAS42 worked with a major media company to automate their manual reporting processes, providing daily updates to stakeholders. The company was in the process of being acquired, so DAS42's work was instrumental in maintaining business continuity. They were primarily involved in data preparation and pipeline work, as well as providing project management support. The engagement lasted from January to June 2019, and the media company primarily worked with Ben, the CEO and Principal of DAS42.

In another project, DAS42 provided data engineering support to Fox Network Group. They were involved in brainstorming, constructive flows, approval processes, and code building. The partnership was established through an internal referral, and the work was carried out in the first half of 2019. The Fox Network Group worked with a team of around five people from DAS42, with Ben acting as the main point of contact.

DAS42 was also hired by an ad sales division of a media company to automate their post-campaign performance reporting. They developed a solution to ingest data from social media network APIs into the company's internal data warehouse. Initially, the scope of work included developing reports, but this was later adjusted to focus on data architecture. The engagement lasted from April 2019 to March 2020 and cost around $100,000.
