Darko Skulj undertook a project for PaperKarma, a mobile application that enables users to unsubscribe from postal junk mail. The CEO of PaperKarma sought the expertise of Darko Skulj to revamp the app, which was functional but riddled with bugs. The primary challenge was to completely rebuild the frontend of the app, which was based on outdated 2012 iOS design standards. The goal was to enhance the user experience, streamline the app's flow, and make it faster and easier to use.
Darko Skulj's team embarked on a thorough research of the existing app, after which they developed new InVision sketch-boards. These were used to create a prototype for beta testing. Over a period of four to six weeks, they developed a unified design for both Android and iOS platforms. The revamped app comprised of approximately 40 screens. The project, which ran from July to September 2017, cost between $5,000-$6,000. The team comprised of two designers and one other resource. The CEO of PaperKarma was particularly impressed with one of the lead designers, who had previously worked with several companies including Rosetta Stone.
