Daffodil Software Ltd. (DSL) was hired by the East Coast Group (ECG), a leading Bangladeshi conglomerate in energy, trading, shipping, and manufacturing, to develop a custom software for their manufacturing company. The Head of IT and ERP of ECG sought DSL's expertise to create a Human Capital Management System and automate their HRM system. DSL, chosen for their good value for cost, assigned 6-10 employees to this project. The scope of work included employee management, recruitment and onboarding, attendance and time tracking, leave management, performance appraisal, and the creation of an Employee Self-Service Portal (ESS). DSL also provided reporting and analytics, performance tracking, training, and support. The results were positive, with ECG appreciating DSL's value for cost. They found the software beneficial for their HRM system, improving efficiency and productivity within the company.
