Cyber Defense Group

The Cyber Defense Group (CDG) was hired by Riva Health to establish a security program and achieve HIPAA compliance. CDG outlined HIPAA requirements, mapped deliverables, and held weekly meetings to track progress. Their security engineers worked with Riva Health's engineers to deliver and review code and software solutions, offered recommendations for 3rd-party security solutions, and reviewed over 20 company policies. The project was successful, with CDG currently contracted as Riva Health's vCISO and continuing to aid in cybersecurity efforts.

The Cyber Defense Group (CDG) provided cybersecurity and SOC services for a personalized products platform. They served as the company's cybersecurity consulting team and were an escalation point for incident response help. CDG also ran tabletop exercises, conducted security maturity assessments, and managed SOC-type services. Additionally, they supplied some of the company's anti-malware. The engagement, which began in January 2021, is ongoing and has so far cost around $500,000.

PacketFabric, a supplier of Network-as-a-Service cloud services, hired the Cyber Defense Group (CDG) to evaluate Unitas Global's security program and assist in meeting SOC2 and ISO-27001 compliance standards. CDG was contracted to perform an internal audit of the company before attempting external audits for SOC2 Type 2, and ISO-27001. They delivered a detailed internal audit report, conducted an internal risk assessment, carried out mandatory compliance-related activities such as tabletop exercises, and assisted in revising and creating security controls and processes. The project was successful, with CDG's high ratings, great culture fit, and aligned company values being key factors in their selection.
