Cyber Cops

Cyber Cops was hired by Eminence Healthcare Services, a medical billing services company, to establish processes that are compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and secure patient data. The VP of Operations of Eminence Healthcare Services found Cyber Cops through a referral and chose them for their great cultural fit and good value for cost. Cyber Cops deployed a team of 2-5 employees to establish policies for worker levels, ensure data could not be saved on computers and remained in the client environment, and encrypt all patient data. The project was executed successfully and met the client's goals.

In another project, Unify Healthcare Services hired Cyber Cops to ensure their compliance with HIPAA and Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) regulations, and to secure their current infrastructure from any cyberattacks. The Senior Director of Operations and Client Services of Unify Healthcare Services found Cyber Cops through a referral and selected them for their high ratings, proximity to their location, budget-friendly pricing, and alignment with their company values. Cyber Cops assigned a team of 2-5 employees to diagnose the current infrastructure, make the IT and production team aware of cybersecurity and compliance requirements, and execute actions to ensure HIPAA compliance. The project is still ongoing, with other compliance requirements in progress.
