Cutler

Cutler was hired by Goodlad Clothing to help design a unique retail space that combined a cafe, a barbershop, and a retail clothing store. The project began with a consultation and the creation of a mood board on Pinterest to convey the desired atmosphere of the store. Cutler then provided options for color schemes, lighting, and floor coverings, ultimately leading to a cohesive design and color palette. The company also assisted with obtaining the necessary permits for the business, navigating several inspections before the store's opening in August 2018. The project cost fell between $25,000 and $50,000.

In another project, Cutler was engaged by KEY Marketing, a real estate company, to redesign the common areas and top floor of a waterfront heritage office building they had purchased. The goal was to make the interior as beautiful and impactful as the exterior, in order to uplift the business brand. Cutler was selected for their reputation and track record, and their principal's reputation. The project, which cost a total of $1 million, with Cutler's fees amounting to about $100,000, involved sourcing and managing the General Contractor, approving all the POs, managing the budget, and sourcing and procuring all the fixtures and furnishings.

Cutler was also hired by a Beauty & Cosmetics firm to design and manage the development of their flagship store and retail expansion. The firm chose Cutler based on their past projects, their design and management team, and cost estimate. Cutler created the design plans, assisted in selecting a General Contractor, and managed the construction and installation. The project manager and the architectural design team were the main points of contact. The firm was pleased with the results, stating that Cutler clearly understood the ambiance they were aiming for.
