Highlights from Recent Projects
Cut 'N' Run Studios was hired by Churchill Pictures, an independent film production company, to work on two of their feature film productions, "Deference" (2012) and "The Unsung" (2017). The goal was to create a distinctive feature film that would gain prominence within the US film festival circuit and secure a top-tier distribution deal. The collaboration was long-standing, dating back to when the film company was still learning the trade. The process of creating "The Unsung" was arduous and involved auditions, script readings, and pre-production, all undertaken with Cut 'N' Run Studios. The film production began in May 2017 and wrapped up in July 2017. The company was praised for its superior preparation, organization, and feedback process, which were instrumental in overcoming the various challenges encountered during the project.
In a separate project, Cut 'N' Run Studios was engaged by Grau & Associates, an association management firm, to create videos for its trade association clients. These videos were primarily for training, educational, and promotional purposes. The studio worked on four projects, one of which was an animated digital video about a specific type of immigration program. Another project involved the creation of online training materials. The studio was commended for taking the rough script and content provided by Grau & Associates and transforming it into a polished video. The project, which began in September 2018, is ongoing and has thus far cost $15,000. The studio was initially referred to Grau & Associates by a colleague.
