Cut Configurator

Cut Configurator completed a project for Glacryl Hedel GmbH, a manufacturing company specializing in glass and plastic processing. The project involved creating a customized configurator for 3D real-time visualization of display boxes, photo-realistic shaders for glass, and automation of plastic dimensions calculations based on user inputs. The configurator also automated the price and quote generation and was integrated with TYPO 3 CMS. The solution was built from scratch using the Three.js WebGL library and was seamlessly integrated with the client's existing e-commerce infrastructure and complex price calculation logic. The configurator was successfully connected to their custom-built E-commerce platform based on TYPO3 CMS. As a final touch, the configurator can now generate PDFs that include visualizations and a detailed Bill of Materials integrated with their ERP, significantly enhancing their overall workflow. The Cut Configurator team was chosen for this project due to their competitive pricing, cultural fit, and the value they offered for the cost. The team consisted of 2-5 employees.
