Cunard Consulting was hired by a fintech payment processing company, Banqit, to develop a mobile app and APIs for processing UK Open Banking payments. The project was led by a team of 2-5 Cunard Consulting employees. The team successfully created iOS and Android apps that enabled Banqit to collect payments using the Banqit Business App and the web, both at the point of sale and remotely. The apps also facilitated business sign-ups with Companies House & Address Lookup using integrated APIs. Additional features included chat-based help and integration of 3rd party PSD2 / Open Banking APIs for access to bank accounts and making payments. The apps were developed using Flutter, NodeJS, React, MongoDB, and ASP.NET, and were deployed in Azure. The apps are now available for download on the UK Apple App Store and the UK Google Play Store.
