CTS Multifamily IT Solutions was hired by Spectra, a student housing investment company, to provide comprehensive IT services during the pre-construction and construction phases of a 120-bed development in Big Rapids, Michigan. The services included structured low voltage cabling, network infrastructure installation, management of internet and Wi-Fi, video surveillance deployment, conference room technologies, AV room design, and digital signage. CTS's extensive experience in the student housing and multifamily business model was instrumental in meeting Spectra's unique needs. A dedicated project manager oversaw the project, coordinating with contractors and CTS system engineers to ensure smooth installation and ongoing IT management and support.
For another project, the company was contracted by an IT consulting firm that needed assistance with office relocation and infrastructure setup. CTS, led by Travis, was chosen based on a mutual IT contact's recommendation. The project entailed approximately 50 network drops, including punching down and terminating wires, and assistance with the network and infrastructure setup. Two team members from CTS were assigned to assist with the project. The firm was appreciative of CTS's ability to meet the tight project timeline and deliver the required IT support successfully.
