Highlights from Recent Projects
Crossfield Digital was engaged by DRAFT, a fantasy sports mobile app, to build the entire app from scratch. DRAFT's challenge was to have a functioning version of the app within six months to prove there was interest in the app during the NFL season. Crossfield Digital designed and developed the entire frontend of the app, managed the process, and assisted with its release. They also collaborated with DRAFT's backend engineer to enhance the understanding of client and server interactions. The project was completed in eight months.
Crossfield Digital was hired by Red Bull Global Rallycross to develop an app that could provide instant communication to race teams on-site, fans at the event, and fans watching at home on NBC broadcasts. The app, which was built from scratch for Android and iOS, features news, live data, event information and maps, social media integration, and ticketing for fans, sponsors, and racing teams. The app also integrated the company's existing online ticketing option. The relationship between Red Bull Global Rallycross and Crossfield Digital is ongoing.
Crossfield Digital worked with a global sports property and tournament to create an online platform that was user-friendly and directed visitors to a ticket transaction page. The company's challenge was to keep the tournament brand and name prominent in the U.S. to create a lasting impression. Crossfield Digital developed the best design and user flow for the site based on the tournament's history. The homepage they created is still in use today. When the tournament expanded to other territories, Crossfield Digital revisited the management of and distinction between the different territories while still addressing the initial challenges. They came up with a tab-based design that took users to a global homepage with separate territories and clear tournaments. On the backend, they built geo-targeting homepage destinations.
