The technologies used included Golang for the backend and react.js for the frontend. The project was successfully completed, meeting all acceptance criteria. Explore Locations, a startup aiming to create a user-friendly navigation map for tourists, hired CreativeIT to build a web platform from scratch. The platform was designed to help users find and navigate to popular destinations by flight or driving. The scope of work included the creation of the project to the release state and further support, as well as the creation of the first version of the platform. The long-term goal for the platform is to include guides for many other points of interest categories and routes.
